JOB DESCRIPTION:

For this role at our client, assignment is contingent upon the Employer of Records receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (meaning two weeks have passed after the last injection of Pfizer/Moderna or two weeks after receipt of the J&J).
In some locations, testing for COVID-19 may be available and/or required.
Requests for accommodation will be considered pursuant to applicable law.
Responsibilities: Provide inspection, testing, and service for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes.
Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations.
Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed.
Generate reports within Client tools and upload to city municipality websites.
Complete service ticket documentation before leaving the customer site.
Work overtime when needed.
Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.
Provide hands-on training and coaching of entry-level inspectors.
Qualifications: High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred Minimum 2 years experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems Ability to read and understand design and construction documents Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months which will be sponsored by Client State of California Blue Card will also be sponsored by Client and must receive certification within 12 months Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Good verbal and written communication skills in English Must have good customer-facing and customer service skills Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States Must possess a valid driver's license with limited violationsHours of Operation:10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Monday Through ThursdaySaturday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
