Description/Project:
This person will be responsible for instructor led training (in person and virtual) for existing and new employees within the Customer Service Organization. This would include new hire training, existing employee training and development, creating reinforcement strategies, managing classroom activities, documenting participant performance, and all other administrative tasks related to the training experience. As a utility, we also have a responsibility to support customers during major storm event so there are occasions where call handling is required.

-Classroom/Instructional experience, minimum of 2 years – must be instruction of adults
-Able to teach/instruct virtually
-Ability to lead, coach, develop peers
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Good time management and problem solving skills
-Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills
-Ability to collaborate/partner with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
-Ability to communicate to various audiences (from individual contributor to different levels of leadership)
-Experience with the ADDIE model to develop training solutions
-Ability to quickly learn knowledge of company, organization and operational areas
-Flexibility to manage multiple priorities

Education and certifications/licensures required:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in adult education/training
