JOB DESCRIPTION :
2nd shift- Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Division & Halsted

$16/hr-$17.50/hr

Monitor all warehouse and store transfers and other transactions for accuracy.
∙ Perform audits of inventory levels between inbound merchandise and outbound merchandise and associate transactions, and report findings to management.
∙ Ensure all safety procedures and standards regarding inventory control are being met. Implement and adhere to the security regulations of the facility.
∙ Coordinate with management to plan daily labor needs to fulfill all defined inventory management functions.
∙ Optimize warehouse for efficiency in storage and item distribution and inform management of any necessary changes.
∙ Ensure product rotation and storage disciplines are followed (FIFO).
∙ Meet or exceed productivity standards.
∙ Coordinate and monitor a cycle count program.
∙ Ensure that cycle counting is completed in accordance with client guidelines.
∙ Provide regular reports on the cycle counting results and identify necessary recounts. Reconcile all differences promptly to minimize impact to customer operations.
∙ Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
∙ Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting report and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records, as needed.
∙ Perform any other distribution duties and responsibilities as needed.

Skills and Abilities:
∙ Must be willing and able to work assigned shift.
∙ Must be dependable, reliable and flexible.
∙ Must be able to work overtime as required with 24-hour notice.
∙ Knowledgeable in the use computers and possess basic math skills.
∙ Knowledge/understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
∙ Dedicated to customer satisfaction with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
∙ The ability to positively contribute to a team environment.
∙ Must be detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
∙ Good reasoning ability, sound judgment, resourceful and well organized.

∙ Ability to work between an office setting and warehouse environment
∙ Ability to lift and/or move objects up to and including 50 lbs.
∙ Ability to stand or walk continuously for up to 12 hours per day.
∙ Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach and climb and descend stairs safely.
∙ Ability to work in warehouse climate with temperature range of 55-80 degrees
