Inventory Clerk
PayRate: $18.00-$20.00/HR
7am - 3pm (flexible with shift although some days may require an earlier start time)

CorTech is looking to hire a Inventory Clerk in Wayne, NJ.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Lead Senior Buyer Planner, the successful candidate will be responsible for inventory counting and control, product kit generation, documentation usage and generation, executing transactions within our ERP system, supporting physical inventory and cycle counting, and supporting shipping and receiving.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts, and report shortages, overages and all inventory levels as required/requested.
• Perform product kit fulfillment and ensure continued operations and avoid shortages.
• Maintain ERP information, including all appropriate and allowed transactions and reports. Assist in the generation of documentation including product and component additions, deletions, and adjustments.
• Classify, label and stock all inventory for future use, which includes keeping accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
• Communicate to supervisor and appropriate personnel through the use of the ticket system and/or email of any problems which may be observed during the assembling or troubleshooting processes.
• Responsible for following and maintaining processes as well as assisting in the creation of processes which may not have yet been documented.
• Maintain compliance with AMETEK policies.
• Additional responsibilities as required.

Required knowledge and skills:
-the right candidate does not need any prior experience, we’re willing to train!
-we’re looking for someone right out of high school who’s looking to gain work experience, earn money while maybe attending college, someone who wants to get their foot in the door
-this person must have high energy and willing to learn and work; this is a role up your sleeves and work kind of job, not a desk job
-must have reliable transportation and be punctual
-this would be a great job for someone who is interested in gaining more experience and knowledge to become a future Buyer/Planner, as they would be working alongside with both Purchasing & Manufacturing teams
