Job Description: JAVA J2EE Developer (Intermediate)Location: Wilkes Barre, PAContract: Long Term  Eligibility Criteria                  Candidates must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
                 Cannot have more than 6 months cumulative travel outside the United States within the last 5 years.
 Job Description:Analyst, Programmer; Intermediate Level      Designs, develops, implements, and maintains complex business, accounting, and management information systems.
Works on complex assignments.
Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
Assists users in the operation of the application.
Provides guidance to less experienced programmers/analysts.
Performs all functional duties independently.
Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
   Strong knowledge of one or more of the following skillsets: Java, JSP, J2EE, SQL Websphere (7 or higher), Eclipse, Subversion or Github  Experience in the following is preferred but not required: Struts,   CSS, HTML Unix, Jenkins/EBS  Working knowledge of one of more of the following qualifications:                  Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies                  Assist team with preparation of cost estimates                  Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices                  Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc)                  Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)                  A minimum of five (5) years experience in software development.
                 A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering,   Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
                 Able to perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program.
                 Able to oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
                 Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel.
                 Extensive knowledge of and experience with designing and building Web-based software systems.
                 Extensive experience designing and developing user interface features, site animation and special effects elements.
                 Extensive experience with at least two graphics software applications, along with relevant design techniques and tools.
                 Extensive experience collaborating with other Web designers/developers to enhance Web site look-and-feel to support the organizationac#39;s external communication strategies and goals.
                 Possesses strong navigation and site design instincts.
                 Extensive experience collaborating in a team environment to develop a Web site concept, interface design and architecture, and then to design and develop   software (e.
g.
Javascript, HTML, XML, etc) to implement the solution.
                 Able to obtain Postal clearance.
                 Excellent communication skills.
