Sensory technician
Pay Rate: $17.78/HR

Cortech is seeking a Sensory Technician in Columbus, OH.


The Sensory technician will have a wide range of responsibilities. The role will support the daily
operations of the local sensory lab, which primarily supports R&D.

Core job responsibilities can be
broken down as follows:
? 80% routine procedures
? 20% simple to complex non-routine functions and procedures (work that requires application
knowledge to obtain desired outcome)

Specific responsibilities may include:
? Setting up, running and reporting results from adult and child hedonic and discrimination tests
? Assisting with the descriptive panels and panelist monitoring activities
? Managing panelist records and the panelist incentive program
? Procuring product samples to support descriptive and hedonic studies
? Learning specific software programs required to process sensory reports, specifications and
purchase orders
? Headspace oxygen testing
? Sample check-in
? Maintaining the lab in a clean and tidy manner

Skills Required:
? Oral and written communication skills
? Planning and time management
? Customer focus
? Clerical and Administrative
? Ability to work on multiple projects
? Computer Savvy
