Lab Tech Sr.
Pay Rate: $21.43/HR

Cortech is seeking a Lab Tech Sr in Abbott Park, IL.

In summary, Technicians will: Dispense exact quantities of chemical and biologic material to production orders; Completing electronic transactions in an inventory management system; Resolving inventory discrepancies; Movement, staging and transfer of bulk inventory. Compliance to established process and safety procedures in a GMP environment. Work hours are 8:00AM-4:30 PM (training period first 90 days may require earlier start and overtime required). Top 5 things looking for: Prior production/lab experience, electronic systems use and comfort with, Prior documentation in FDA regulated environment, Experience working within a team, continuous improvement/critical thinking.

Job Duties:
--Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases.
--May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for the tests, research or process control.
--Must possess diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level and 1+ years experience.
