Your Role:
This position will be a key contributor to the overall quality and development of products and processes at our Branchburg, NJ site. Our products are sold globally and include advanced chemical formulations sold to the semiconductor and display industries. These products include photoresists, solvent mixtures, and coatings.
This is a dual role, where time will be split between performing laboratory work and data analysis.
As a data scientist, you will use your knowledge of statistics and statistical process control (SPC), as well as your experience with numerical software packages, to transfer product SPC data between different software packages, critically review SPC data, and recommend tightening of control limits.
In the laboratory, you will prepare chemical formulations of new and existing products ranging from a few grams to several gallons. Our products require critical control throughout weighing, mixing, filtration, packaging, and cleanliness. You will sample raw materials from manufacturing to fulfill lab needs and support laboratory activities by keeping inventories, ordering supplies, and maintaining good lab housekeeping.

Who You Are:

• Associates degree in a science or engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on work experience, or a bachelors degree with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on work experience.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have experience using Excel or other numerical software to analyze and plot data.
• Experience with statistics and/or statistical process control preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting preferred, including weighing, mixing, filtration, and sampling.
• Be familiar with Safety Data Sheets and follow directives in them to safely handle chemicals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• Must be detail-oriented to assure accurate record keep
