SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the People Law group as well as department support for the larger Law Organization. KEY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments; Fielding incoming communication some of critical importance and or confidential nature; Reviewing incoming matters and correspondence for priority and content and responding promptly; Organizing records and files utilizing established systems; Drafting correspondence and basic legal documents for internal and external usage; Assist with expense reports as well as researching coding and processing various invoices; Working with internal clients and outside attorneys in a professional manner REQUIREMENTS: Education: Completion of high school a vocational school or equivalent; some college preferred. Experience: 3 plus years related experience required. Experience in a law firm or in-house environment preferred. Experience interacting with a Board of Directors preferred. Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills; Microsoft Office Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Adobe; prior experience with legal software systems preferred. Communication Skills: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate with multiple levels of management including Executive leadership team. Special Skills: Ability to deal with complicated or difficult situations in a professional and confident manner; team player with strong organizational skills; ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity; ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel: Some limited travel may be required.
