Strong organizational, management, and computer skills. (Visio, CAD, etc...) Ability to work closely with customers and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects. Self-motivation and leadership qualities. Experience working with electrical control panels and power distribution panels. Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics The Role: As the head of our electrical department, it will be your responsibility to operate the department in an effective and timely manner in order to satisfy customer needs & meet company goals. Responsible for maintaining technological requirements of the department in order to compete in the industrial marketplace. (Tools, Components, etc...) Oversee all daily operations Assure that orders are fulfilled on time and maintain the expected level of quality control. Responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors and customers to ensure the department is competitive in every aspect of business. Responsible for investigating and recommending new/alternative methods for improving company efficiency. Responsible for price quoting of projects and orders. Responsible for staffing the electrical department and maintaining department moral. To maintain contact and working relationship with owners. To oversee and direct employees on truck loading and spot check load. To direct assembly staff on what work needs to be done, assuring that such work is completed on time and to the standard that the company requires. Coordinating with company staff and employees on projects. To assist with needs as they occur such as quoting, hours, material, and pricing if needed from staff. To work with staff on shop drawings and submitting for approval. To contact owner with problems and for help with jobs that have money or quality problems. Assess broken items and equipment that are potential problems and advise staff on direction to repair, or use staff as needed to fix such problems. To discuss employee problems with staff and set a direction of discipline as you see fit. To make sure employee's respect and honor start and stop times, lunch, and break times. Coordinating and effectively working with other staff members in order to ensure the company as a whole is being as efficient as possible. Responsibilities: Specification of equipment for procurement. Review of system drawings created by the Design Department. Coordination of project budgeting, scheduling, engineering, design, fabrication, and testing. Working closely with Project Managers, Designers, Suppliers, Fabricators, and Customers.     Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Electrical Managerial: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: One location
