JOB DESCRIPTION :

Description of Position: Provides direct patient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients needing advanced monitoring and care Required to operate advanced medical equipment and to care for patients with central lines, arterial lines A-lines, medicated IV drips, and patients requiring Ventilation Support. Provides care to general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit. Has ability to assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Acts as a clinical leader and assists with precepting staff. Provides direct care for patients in the Hospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including discharge planning. Gives direction to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, and Dietary Staff. Receives direction from Providers, Inpatient Manager, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, and Chief Nursing Officer. Education: Graduate of an accredited RN Degree Nursing Program.Experience:1-2 years' experience License: Current State of Montana RN Licensure. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification to be completed with 6 months of hire.
