Machine Operator Apply
Penski Staffing a Cor-Tech Company is currently looking for Machine Operators in the Ogdensburg area.
Machine Operators will manufacture and assemble explosive resistant helmets, bomb suits, and vests.
Position requires all machine operators to run on production line equipment. There are various machines used such as industrial sewing machines, fabric cutting machine, operate web cutting machine, rotary shears, and various hand tools.
Sewing Machine Operators tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, or perform related sewing operations which could also include sewing, altering, measuring, and or embroidering uniform or equipment items.
Various hand tools are used to drill, tap, or ream holes using a drill press or portable drill. Aligns components and bolts, screws, or rivets them together. Test and assist in quality testing operation for completed products.
A Fabric Machine Operator is required to cut various fabric materials using a cutting machine. Responsible to repair and fix all materials that fail to meet specifications by quality control. Mounts assembled components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated, circuits, and sockets on chassis panels. Various assembling operations could require viewing under a microscope, or another magnifying device.
Assist other operators in various skilled functions. May lead, guide, and train less experienced employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm to train, then shifting to Monday through Friday 5 pm - 3 am.
