CorTech is hiring for Machine Operators / Assembly our client in Columbus, IN. Our Client is A WORLD LEADER in the automotive supply industry that is seeking long-term, career-minded individuals to join the team! If you have a solid work history, positive attitude and strong work ethic you can be considered for this opportunity! No Manufacturing experience? No problem!

**We're Offering C shift (Alternate or Swing Shift)**

The Days and Hours for the Swing Shift ( Shift C ) are below

Monday & Tuesday 4:00pm - 4:00am (OT May Be Required)

Friday & Saturday 4:00am - 4:00pm (OT May Be Required)

You will have every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday OFF!!

You can't forget you'll be off by 1700 (5pm) on Friday and Saturday, so you'll have the weekends to enjoy!

-Pay rate starts out at $16.05-


As a Machine Operator / Assembly, your daily responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

▪ Produce parts by loading and positioning component(s) into fixture(s) using methods/equipment defined in operator work instructions and standardized work instructions

▪ Perform detailed (final gauge, bend gauge, hand held gauges, etc.) dimensional inspection when necessary to determine quality of product.

▪ Keep count of completed product on each run

▪ Record and dispose defective product in designated manner (red bins)

▪ Self-inspect parts visually for obvious defects or as specified by work instructions

▪ Check all safety controls for proper operation at start of shift

▪ Notify GAP Leader and/or Supervisor when defects exceed acceptable limits or when major equipment malfunctions occur

▪ Pack parts into designated container and record information in line with QS9000 labeling and/or packing instructions

▪ Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy

▪ Adhere to all work rules and procedures

▪ Clean / paint equipment, clean / seal floors, paint lines around equipment when line is down or when assigned

▪ Actively participate in work teams

▪ Move materials / supplies / finished goods to designated places in the facility manually or by hand truck

▪ Implement at least two improvement idea per month
