Pay rate - $16.25/hr
2nd shift hours: 3pm - 11pm


Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to read and understand written instructions to complete machining and/or assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards
Inspect and test parts and products for defects in material and/or machining according to established guidelines and quality standards
Report defective materials, machinery, and/or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Performs rework or secondary operations as designated and packs parts per written procedure.
Assembles cartons or boxes as instructed.
Responsible for 5S around workstation.
Fills out QCDS board information and updates hour-by-hour chart.
Reports machine malfunctions or defective equipment to supervision
Assists in training new operators
Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Skills and Experience
Perform basic tasks on a PC or tablet.
Work in hot and humid environment.
Stand on your feet for extended period.
Lift up to 35 pounds.
Work in a fast-paced setting.
Operate a forklift/hand truck (we will train).
Function in a team environment.
High School Diploma, GED or factory experience preferred.
Position Overview
Under direct supervision assist in the making of varistor blocks used in the assembly of high voltage surge arrestors.

Duties and Responsibilities
Able to perform function of the Collar Booth such as set-ups and adjustments per Process Specification and all operating procedures Collar Booth 1/2/3, Load unload Collar Ovens, Collar Mix making.

Follow all safety rules and lock out tag out regulations for self and others.
Able to distinguish between good and out of spec product.

Skills and Experience
Perform basic tasks on a PC or tablet.
Work in hot and humid environment.
Stand on your feet for extended period.
Lift up to 35 pounds.
Work in a fast-paced setting.
Operate a forklift/hand truck (we will train).
Function in a team environment.
Maintain a reliable attendance record.

Education
High School Diploma, GED or factory experience preferred.
