JOB DESCRIPTION :
Pay rate - $17.25/hr
1st Shift
These positions will be for day shift (6:30am - 3pm Monday - Friday)
Overtime will be required as dictated by the needs of the business.

Employee will need to report to work the first day with steel toed boots/shoes. All workers on site are expected to work all mandatory OT and they are strongly encouraged to work voluntary OT as well.

Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.

Machinist is required to be capable of operating any equipment within our machine shop. (CNC Lathes, Drill Presses and Milling Machines)
Machinist is responsible to machine parts per work instructions and production packages to include loading / unloading parts from machine, fork lift driving, design and suggest new machining processes to reduce labor hours. The machinist will also be capable of making new programs on the CNC machines for various new parts and configurations.

• Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity
• Creative thinking and idea generation

Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units. Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 0-2 years of experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or above 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.
