Machinist - Traveler Apply
Pay rate - $21/hr
Per Diem rate - $80/day (7 days a week)
Will be paid mileage to and from Job location
58 HOUR WORK WEEK:
Mon - Fri / 7AM - 5:30PM
Sat 7AM - 3:30PM
The Installer II (traveler) installs, services, and repairs electromechanical equipment/machinery at customer sites using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools following layout drawings and manufacturer’s instructions, utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical machinery. Works under general supervision of a Lead man or Site Supervisor.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Conveyor and/or Sortation installations
• Can install conveyor accurately from the prints, ability to teach local new hires
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft
• Own basic hand tools and steel toed safety shoes
• Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift
• Ability to operate power tools correctly
• Detail Oriented
• Adheres to all safety standards and ensured a safe work area
• Performs housekeeping and general clean up duties
• Able to work 58+ hour work weeks
• Reliable transportation
• Good Communication skills
• Good Attitude
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• License to operate forklift and scissor lift equipment safely and accurately
