What to know about this Maintenance Mechanic Role
* Pay: $28.00 / Hour
* Hours are 11am-8pm
* Mon- Fri. Some Saturdays required depending on workload demands
The Role of Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for a variety of skilled maintenance, repair and troubleshooting tasks, in and about facilities and manufacturing equipment.
Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose problems and determine the extent of repairs or adjustments needed for equipment
• Maintain, adjust, repair, rebuild and overhaul equipment
•Enters repair orders and keep maintenance records of time spent, materials and parts used and type of work performed in automated system
•Organizes, cleans and maintains workshop area, Familiar with hands and power tools
Maintenance Mechanic Skills Required:
• Able to read and understand maintenance and specification manuals
• Follow oral and written instructions
• Capable of preparing work orders and records of service performed
• Communicate and work effectively with all associates
• Physical dexterity and ability to perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment
• Able to perform all duties of a mechanics helper without supervision
• Standing -Entire shift, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working in hot/cold temperatures
• Steel Toed Shoes required
Due to onsite safety all candidates must be fluent and able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
