With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products and the expansion will further develop our capabilities.</p> <p> </p> <p>With around the clock operations we offer a creative schedule for our Maintenance & Reliability Team that provides our team members with the ability to have n<b>ot only time off during the traditional work week (Mon – Fri) but allows for a 3 day weekend every other week (Fri, Sat, Sun).</b> Crews work in Teams and alternate days to allow for an ideal work / home-life balance. This is a great opportunity to join the team now and have input and influence on the installation and start-up of this equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition, we offer a $<span>2500 SIGN ON BONUS* --- *$1,250 paid out after 90 days of fulltime employment, additional $1,250 paid out after 180 days! </span></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Brief Job Summary:</b></p> <p>Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and electrical systems by performing the essential job functions. Performs limited facility maintenance tasks as required.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Essential Job Functions: </b></p> <ul> <li>Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF Quality Management policies and procedures while performing essential job functions.</li> <li>Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems with equipment</li> <li>Replace \ Repair broken or worn out parts on Equipment</li> <li>Modify equipment to meet changing manufacturing requirements</li> <li>Install new equipment</li> <li>Perform preventive maintenance on equipment</li> <li>Performs limited masonry work, repairs plumbing fixtures and woodwork.</li> <li>Repairs, maintains and installs electrical systems and fixtures.</li> <li>Measures, cuts, bonds, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit.</li> <li>Uses hand and power tools. Install new runs of water, steam, and air piping</li> <li>Install new runs of electric to various equipment</li> <li>Maintain the building and grounds</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Essential Knowledge and Skill Requirements:</b></p> <p>Minimum of two (2) years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic work experience (can be a combination of employers) OR be a graduate of an Industrial Maintenance Training Program</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Required Skills/Attributes:</b></p> <p>Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. Finger Dexterity - The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
