DescriptionPhysical requiredHours 7am-3:30 pm M-FESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProduction of products in a variety of manufacturing areas.- Follows written instructions via MPS/SOP/ISO guidelines. May be asked toperform simple experiments.- Monitors process, identifies opportunities for process improvement, anddesigns/conducts simple experiments toincrease yield, improve product quality, or develop new products.- Assists R&D in manufacturing of new products.Packaging of products in a variety of manufacturing areas.- Package and label all products according to instructions.Testing of products.- Prepares samples for QC and external labs. Completes in-processinspections as required.- Maintains QC experimental records if required.Operate/Maintain all necessary related lab equipment.- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshootingof all equipment required for manufacturing of products.Material Handling- Maintain inventory of raw materials and request supplies at establishedlevels.-Perform necessary transactions/documentation.Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work area and related lab equip.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation:- HS Diploma or Equivalent:Experience:1-3 years effective work experienceEssential and Critical Skills:-Ability to write legibly. Ability to use simple math formulas. Abilityto use simple hand tools and set up and operate a variety of labelling andpackaging equipment. Ability to perform under a minimum of supervision, makeindependent decisions, organize work and effectively document work throughrecords and reports as necessary. Ability to use PC and common software.ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS:Production EnvironmentPhysical Requirements:- Regular use of PC and lab equipment including but not limited to hand tools,balances, pumps, ovens and various labelling equipment. Ability to handlechemicals safely.- Vision within normal limits.- Ability to move materials weighing typically between 15-50 lbs.- Ability to move between various work stations within the lab.Other Information:- The above job description covers the most significant job dutiesperformed and does not exclude other work assignments not mentioned.
