Manufacturing Technician
Pay Rate: $20.00/HR

CorTech is looking to hire a Manufacturing Technician in Jackson, MN.


Professional workplace behavior includes quality work, productive work, good attendance, and driving toward results which are achieved through good interaction skills, teamwork, flexibility, willingness to solve problems, and follows all policies and procedures.
The primary role of the Manufacturing Technician is to assist manufacturing with development of custom interconnection systems. Work assignments are varied and can be complex. Manufacturing Technicians use their working knowledge of basic product design principles and common industry practices for the selection of components used in the design of interconnect products to help the product development team develop creative products quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Areas:
• Technical support for Operations
• Investigate technical information
• Maintenance of component and assembly documentation (ECNs, specs., Routings, etc.)
• Review labor standards and perform time studies.
• Develops fixtures (electrical test, potting, assembly, etc.)
• Develop & implement process validation plans and write report
• Coordinate prototypes
• Drive process improvement for specific products and assist Process engineer with overall process improvement projects
• Assist with first article documentation and inspection

Education/Experience Requirements:
• Education and experience per job/career level (“Technician Career Ladder”) and company need

Competencies/Skills/Abilities:
• General mechanical/electromechanical experience and aptitude
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, working knowledge of CAD software
• Ability to interact with a range of personalities
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Working knowledge of ISO, GMP and QSR; FDA experience a plus
• Cable/Connector experience a plus

Conditions/Tools:
• Work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
• Interactions with other departments/cross functional teams.
• Use of microscopes and soldering equipment.
