Days: $22.40 pay rate; $28.90 bill rate
Nights: $25.09 pay rate; $32.37 bill rate

Shifts: Days (6am-6pm), Nights (6pm-6am) - candidate must be flexible with either shift while working a continuous operating schedule

Sign-on Bonus:
$500 after 30 days; $500 after 180 days

Job Description:
Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain the equipment. Able to perform a variety of tasks needed to monitor and adjust the process to improve throughput. Assist with PMs. Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications. Monitor equipment and process status for new products and new installations. Able to perform routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. Monitors and adjust the process to improve the throughput. Responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment while adhering to all safety procedures. Performs routine cleaning and clearing of equipment jams. Performs non-routine maintenance, including clearing of jams. May assist with PMs.

High School Degree or equivalent required. Two or more years maintenance or engineering experience with high volume production line environment, continuous operation preferred. General knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas: Process improvement, Line knowledge, PLC systems, electro/mechanical devices, robotic/servo systems, safety devices, equipment installation, debug and qualification, control circuitry development, electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair, equipment prototyping, production start-up, equipment process development and mechanical devices, controller, mechanical parts design, tooling experience, materials/metal working, and mechanical power transmission. Passing score on the Ramsay Assessment. Flexibility to rotate between day and night shift. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Good organizational skills. Ability to work in an empowered work team environment. Must be able to produce the quantity of acceptable lenses as required by the production plan and business plan targets. Office equipment used: personal computer, printer, copier, Microsoft Office Suite, other software as required. Physical demands of the job include stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering, and climbing. Inside environmental conditions in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment.

This position gives no supervision to others. Under general supervision, position will carry out general instructions in accordance with standard practices. Some initiative and judgment are required. Actions/work are checked periodically. Testing and interview virtual. Previous Military exp a plus. Must be flexible to workday or night
