Shift Start and End Time :6AM - 2PM

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will support the Manufacturing Team and processes The successful candidate will be required to provide safe, Lean, and reliable support, solutions, and improvements. Technical aptitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to understand technical processes are necessary skills for this role.

Responsibilities
Candidate is responsible to support various aspects of manufacturing by assisting and guiding the Manufacturing Team with technical resources/processes as necessary to improve efficiencies and quality. Assists with corrective action and follows up with quality issues. Responsible for, but not limited to: Evaluating, implementing, and recommending process improvements; Developing work instructions; Tooling setup and presentation; and assisting with relocating and setting up of stations. Supports, facilitates, and maintains Training documentation for Manufacturing Team.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
•High School diploma or GED.
•Demonstrates analytical, innovative, and creativity skills.
•Ability to provide hands-on technical support for the Manufacturing Team.
•Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and prints.
•Must be detail oriented and be able to assist with document updates and modifications.
•Ability to troubleshooting manufacturing problems and contribute to the modification/correction of related documentation.
•Self-starter and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
•Familiar with and able to use any power and hand tools needed to complete tasks (Training will be provided if necessary for safe and effective use).
•Familiar with creating, facilitating, and maintaining Training documentation for Manufacturing workers.
•Demonstrates mechanical and technical aptitude.
•Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds.
•Ability to work in a team environment.
•Strong organizational and decision-making skills are necessary.
•Process improvement, lean manufacturing concepts, computer skills, and knowledge of the support areas preferred.
•Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
•Post-secondary education and/or specialized mechanical/technical training preferred but not required.
•Experience utilizing problem solving tools & quality assurance methodologies including Plan-Do-Check-Act (A3), 8D, Kaizen, Lean Cell Design, Error-Proofing, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.
•Experience with IPC 620 practices and requirements.
•Experience with Six Sigma/LEAN concepts.
•Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Experience with CAD software.
