Pay rate - $19.85/hr
40 hrs/wk max unless OT otherwise approved
Work shift: 1st shift / 6:30am - 3pm

Description:
Perform diverse and complex assignments in support of PET detector product development, manufacturing processes and associated tooling & equipment used to fabricate high precision devices. Assignments may include, but are not limited to: light manual assembly of small precision parts, testing processes, cleaning, cost reduction activities, reporting/documenting results of tests and measures, compliance and quality activities and training other team members.

Required Skills:
• detailed work requiring a high degree of manual dexterity
• responsible, independent, trustworthy, self-sufficient
• able to communicate status
• able to provide ideas / execute on projects to improve moving forward.

Required Qualifications:
1. Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 3 years manufacturing assembly experience
2. Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
3. Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
4. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
5. Ability to work with a Diverse team over several shifts of operation

Job description;

- Building & testing critical PET-detector components & subsystems.
- Testing built components & assemblies to exacting standards.
- Assist on manufacturing capacity growth projects (yield growth, cycletime reduction).
- Execute qualifications for manufacturing equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Engage in Lean workouts to improve processes.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be a quick learner and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Associate’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
