I. GENERAL PURPOSEThe Market Research Analyst is responsible for studying market conditions to assess the potential sales of our Portfolio. The successful market analyst will be able to analyze qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition with the objective to increase competitiveness and share for clientII. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Performs analysis to understand the behavior of the business and competitors, seeking to improve client market share• Transforms and manages data with best practices for automation and analysis optimization• Analyze and interpret market share information at the lowest level• Identify specific business opportunities and coordinate with different teams to produce better business outcomes• Make recommendations and communicate the findings and plans to different levels of audiences in the organization, through visual tools• Present findings to internal customers in an easy-to-understand wayIII. QUALIFICATIONSA. Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field: Business, Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics. Graduate Degree preferred.B. Experience:a. 3+ years of work experience required, preferably in market research, business intelligence, etcb. Strong business and operational knowledge, desirably from working directly with the operationsc. Strong consultative communication skills, preferably diagnosing data to develop successful growth strategies with clients.d. Strong analytical and critical thinkinge. Knowledge of visual tools such as: Tableau, Power BI, etcf. Familiarity with Advanced Analytics tools of data warehousing and mining such as: Scala, R, Python, SQL, Matlab, SAS, SPSS, Minitab, Hive, Hadoop, Pig, Tableau, Spotfire, etcg. Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with large sets of data, pulling in relevant team members to address identified and sometimes undiscovered needs
