Marketing & Merchandising Analyst

Cortech is seeking a Marketing and Merchandising Analyst in Hopkins, MN.

As a member of the Merchandising Services team, the Merchandising Services Specialist is responsible to assist in the overall supplier, customer and broker support functions, across varied processes and systems. This role will work with other members of the department, Supervisor, Manager and Director Merchandising Services and cross-functionally, with all areas of the company, as well as externally. They will be responsible to execute specialized support tasks and functions across various systems, which require timely input, with a high level of accuracy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Respond to requests coming in through various department email addresses and dedicated phone line, which cover all aspects of a supplier’s business.
• Acts as a point of contact for assigned areas and a liaison between other business areas.
• Works with various systems and reports to gather information, research and take accurate actions within those systems and processes.
• Responsible for making contacts to derive information on status of suppliers.
• Information gathering, compiling, creating and tracking information in spreadsheets.
• Processes entries in multiple systems.
• Creates basic reporting and tracking of transactions.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce the overall number of inquiries.
• Prepares recommendations on enhancements to business processes that would streamline communications with both internal and external users.
• Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
• Maintains current documentation of all areas.
• Assists Merchandising Service Specialist Sr, Supervisor, Manager and Director with ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
• 2-year degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
• 0 – 2 years merchandising, customer service or financial experience
• systems and understanding of business processes across the organization is preferred
Skills/ Abilities:
• Strong planning and organizational skills will be required.
• Must have ability to use basic Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
• Ability to create credibility with our business partners, in the team, as well as internally and externally, in order to solve problems and meet SLA’s, goals and objectives.
• Must have strong attention to detail, as accurate review, response and input of information into multiple systems is critical to this position.
• Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and drive for results in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including methods of sharing information to develop and enhance effective business relationships.
• Financial acumen.
