Marketing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator position will contribute to the development and execution of effective marketing strategies while utilizing various and appropriate media to satisfy both internal and external customers. The role is to remain customer focused as the priority while working within the context of the corporate and style guide directives. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working the various departments to ensure coordination of company and corporate presentations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Report to the Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Work with various departments: sales, engineering, service
  • Support all special events both customer related and industry related shows and displays. These events can be local, internal and external functions.
  • Manage special assigned marketing projects
  • Develops and manages sales literature and all other promotional tools such as presentations, logos and photos assuring that corporate identity is protected
  • Oversee, maintain and contributes to the content and design of Intranet and Extranet sites (company website, social media pages, etc.)
  • Contributes and/or executes initiatives that compliment or drive the corporate messages and initiatives digitally across multiple media platforms
  • Coordinates and reviews press releases, white papers and internal technical flash announcements
  • Support internal needs for signage/posters, equipment branding, etc.
  • Support, create, and contribute to company's digital initiatives and overall strategy
  • Work as communication relay with corporate office



QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university;
  2. 2-3 years related field experience or training;
  3. Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

  1. Proficiency with marketing media tools
  2. Design and creative capability; InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator preferable but not required.
  3. Knowledge of industry related products and solutions are a plus.
  4. Project Management Skills
  5. Detail Oriented
  6. Able to work independently and under pressure.
  7. Ability to work on projects within a team.
  8. Advanced communication skills verbal, written, presentation.
  9. Ability to handle confidential information.
  10. Advanced Microsoft Office skills
