Marketing Manager (Industrial & Consumer – I&C) Apply
<p><strong>Role Description:</strong></p> <p>The Global Marketing Manager – Industrial & Consumer (I&C) will play a key role in the global marketing team in Client Mobility & Materials Performance Materials Business. This role will be responsible for supporting global marketing strategy for high growth and high-value I&C segments (i.e. consumer goods, home & office, industrial & automation) and drive the implementation and execution of the marketing strategy to drive business growth. The role will directly report to the Global Marketing Leader, Performance Materials.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the development and implementation of market segment strategies (along the value chain (OEMs, Tier1s, molders) with articulated business cases, enabling resources needs, and actionable execution plans</li> <li>Identify new growth opportunities within the assigned market segment; lead, build and prioritize new product/ application development programs to address portfolio gaps in newly identified spaces</li> <li>Lead new product launches and drive innovation revenue growth in the assigned market segment, working closely with R&D, Application Development & Technical experts</li> <li>Create marketing collateral content for the assigned market segment and represent the segment at internal forums, external conferences, and trade shows.</li> <li>Support segment market communications to strengthen Client's brand image and create industry excitements and new business growth opportunities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Capabilities:</strong></p> <p>We seek a highly accomplished individual with strong marketing expertise in some of the above markets and technical competency. The following capabilities are crucial for this role:</p> <ul> <li>Market industry Knowledge (i.e., home appliance, dispenser & packaging, sporting goods, gears, material handling or similar industries)</li> <li>Knowledge of Engineering and Specialty Polymers</li> <li>Strong analytical and critical thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions and actionable recommendations</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and knowledge of market segmentation, addressable market size assessment, value chain analysis, product and technology development roadmap, value proposition, competitive analysis, and other current best practices in marketing</li> <li>Strong ability to grasp technical concepts and effectively promote new products and technologies to both internal and external customers</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence without authority; prior experience in leading cross-functional teams is highly desirable</li> <li>Strong communication skills to effectively, clearly, and concisely convey ideas, concepts, and growth opportunities to all levels and functions in written, verbal, and presentation format.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and innovative environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fields; Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or closely related field will also be considered; Master's degree or MBA is a plus;</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing or sales roles</li> <li>Prior experience in Automotive market segments/applications; previous experience with engineering polymers, and regulations and customers will be a plus</li> <li>Experience in marketing and business data analytics, develop insights and make actionable recommendations</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Self-starter with a strategic view and hands-on approach</li> </ul> <p><strong>Miscellaneous:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The job position is in the US, preferably Wilmington (but not limited to)</li> </ul>
