Brand Strategy Contractor
Pay Rate: $64.79/HR

Cortech is seeking a Brand Strategy Manager in Stamford, CT.

As the Brand Strategy Contractor, you will be responsible for supporting the brand strategy team with developing insights to validate our strategy, messaging and go to market plans. You will also support the internal and external launch of the new brand identity as needed.

The Brand Strategy Contractor is an integral member of the Brand Strategy & Planning team, reports directly to the Senior Manager of Brand Strategy & Planning and works closely with various internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
• Support strategic initiatives that require leveraging the insights gathered across research initiatives to make recommendations on the brand strategy, messaging and go to market campaign plan. This requires managing the day to day of partnering with the market research team to oversee the design of questionnaires, discussion guides, fielding and analysis of results. Projects may include but are not limited to:
o Partnering with the market research team to analyze brand health research and make strategic recommendations on the findings.
o Partnering with market research and analytics to leverage quantitative, qualitative and 3rd party data to understand client and prospect behavior, competitive positioning, marketing/campaign outcomes, audience insights and industry trends.
o Supporting the development of customer personas including partnering closely with our research team to understand client and prospect buyer journeys.
• In addition, the consultant will be asked to support other important brand priorities including but not limited to helping to activate the internal launch of our new brand identity including employee engagement plans. Also, supporting the external campaign launch including coordinating final reviews for creative deliverables and aligning to the media plans.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
• Prior experience (7+ years) in brand marketing strategy, planning and/or insights roles (preferably B2B).
• Telecommunications or Technology experience is a plus.
• Understands B2B research methodologies, including in-depth client and prospect interviews, focus groups, panels, surveys, etc.
• Excellent communicator comfortable presenting to leaders.
• Flexible, cross-functional partner who thrives in a dynamic working environment.
• Passion for developing brand strategy and executing brand campaigns.
• Ability to manage vendor resources.
• Experience managing competing priorities, complex projects, and timelines.
• Strong strategic, analytical, verbal, written and problem-solving skills.
• A critical thinker with strong business insight and a highly collaborative approach.
• A passion for leveraging insights and translating that information into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Ability to multi-task and manage internal and external deadlines.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
