Material Control Coordinator

Position Overview

The Material Control Coordinator candidate will act as the focal point for all aspects related to inbound and outbound materials. Ideal candidates for this position will have strong previous SAP experience and outstanding communication and customer service skills. Position will involve working cross-functionally to support the business from an SAP transactional standpoint and resolve any discrepancies in SAP in a timely manner. Must be able to work in a matrixed environment and take direction as required to support the business from multiple functions.

Responsibilities
• Executes required transactions in SAP in support of goods movements; performs inbound material discrepancy resolution, goods receipt resolution, blocked invoice resolution, and any other SAP transaction as required.
• Support Operational Purchase Order maintenance and updates.
• Works as instructed by different functions or on an independent level.
• Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is difficult or complex.
• Daily interaction in team environment

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Strong SAP skills
• 5+ years of experience in logistics coordinating, supply chain, customer service, or procurement
• Ability to work well with a team
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Customer focus for both internal and external business relationships
• Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Experience in Power generation, Gas Compression, Rotating Equipment, or Process Automation
• Previous experience in a matrixed work environment
