Shift: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm

Receive all receipt of materials daily. Make sure the storage of all inventory including packaging supplies, raw materials, final products and consignment inventory. Inventory control through cycle counting program. Maintains clear communication channels with Production, Quality Control and SCM. Communicate with transport providers and Customer Service. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment. As a lead person his duties are cycle counting, ships final product, receives raw materials (package, bulk, etc.), weighs raw materials, distributes raw materials for production, housekeeping and safety philosophies and procedures, and in support of Operational Excellence goals. Warehouse teamwork and communication are very important everyone and must work together to ensure that the entire area is operating in a safe and efficient manner. Appropriate staffing levels must be maintained in order to load and unload trucks. In this respect, teamwork includes being punctual, working together, giving sufficient notice for time off, and volunteering to work a fair share of scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed to maintain proper staffing.
