JOB DESCRIPTION :

Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm

The Manufacturing Material Handler 1 position is responsible to process raw material from the warehouse into Rotor manufacturing following procedures in a safe and GMP environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description reflects assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
• Responsible for unpacking raw plastic parts used in Rotor assembly in a semi-clean room environment
• Will perform administrative and physical tasks involved in receiving, storing and supplying materials to operators, workstations and distribution center
• Must follow and understand all safety guidelines, GMP, SOPs and DOP’s.
• Will assemble kits and stage parts on carts for production.
• Will interact with production leads, Incoming Inspection and warehouse personnel
• Must keep parts in FIFO and notify Supervisor of any discrepancies
• Dispose of empty cardboard into compactor and prep trash for pick up
• Keep are clean and clear of obstructions
• Area must be kept in compliance with 5S practices

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in a stock room, ERP system, Inventory and/or Cycle Counting is helpful.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and remain Drug-free.
• Ability to work effectively without supervision and without instruction on routine work.
• Commitment to follow established policies, practices, procedures.
• Availability to work any shift M-F, occasional Saturday work, flexibility to periodically shift schedule
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English to carefully and consistently follow procedures
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Will be required to wear clean room attire and/or other personnel protective equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50Ibs and occasionally up to 75Ibs
• Fast-paced repetitive use of both hands
• Able to stand for the entire shift
• Basic math skills are a must
