Requests for accommodation will be considered pursuant to applicable law.Description: Shipping and Receiving•Receive, store, stock, identify, and issue material by name, part, and/or drawing number by use of Oracle database system.•Verify count, condition, and correctness of all material received and report to Inventory Office.•Check against blueprint, with calipers and gauges, when necessary, to insure correct piece.•Designate, allocate, place in proper storage location, and transact material in Oracle database system.•Record location of material and report any unusual material condition or out-of-balance inventory.•Collect and transport material as needed for task, operating Jitney, towmotor, crane (including yard crane), carousel, hand trucks, tugger and stock selector.•Secure from Shop all material to fill particular orders, working to parts orders, item cards, picklists or listings which give quantity, drawing and part number of required material. Check against drawing to determine correctness. Order parts to machine shop as required in correct quantities.•Gather material and be responsible for collating all of the correct material for a particular order.•Perform data entry into required Oracle system using a variety of user views, such as, but not limited to, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and WIP (work in process). Operate bar code scanners for oracle transactions in receiving area.•Operate UPS, Fed-Ex, and DHL machines to the extent of menus that are offered to create shipping labels for parts shipment.•Supply information for announcing out, prepare and pack parts for shipment, after final recheck to assure quantities and items are correct.•Operate saws and other equipment layout and make skids, crates or boxes as required.•Continually check incoming material against customers’ orders, identify, and locate for order. Be familiar with status of customers’ orders at all times and make recommendations to order controller when to ship.•Operate skin-packaging machine and perform bench mechanic functions.•Perform miscellaneous and related tasks as assigned, such as chasing material, packaging and labeling parts, kit for assembly, applying protective coating, cleaning parts when necessary by hand.•Receive, identify, mark, store and issue a wide variety of bar, tubing, pipe and related material and orders.•Count, check, color code and locate incoming material neatly and safely in assigned bin on floor and outside locations.•Unload and check material on incoming trucks for size, quantity and identification.•Report any defective, damaged, wrongly identified or improper quantities to purchasing department following up with necessary paper work.•Sign bill of materials and forward same to Receiving Department. Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to supervisor.•Stage material for no-split orders, and print all required documentation.•Load trucks, unload and reload for trans-shipment, occasionally disassembling pieces to get needed parts.•Perform daily cycle counts and enter data into the Oracle database system.•Work closely with other departments as required.•Keep area neat and orderly.Assist assembly area with locating needed material, pulling together kits, and packaging and labeling. Be familiar with assembly schedule. Visually inspect, clean, fit and assist assemblers where necessary to prepare quality parts ready for assembly and/or parts service requirements.•Receive, store, identify and transport material as necessary to maintain parts flow to and from assembly area. Visually check against blue prints, when necessary, to ensure correct identity and condition of pieces, as well as, be able to identify material by part name and/or drawing number.•Operate tow motor, fork truck, and other vehicles necessary to transport parts and complete machines in and out of assembly and test areas. Operate crane, hoist, and other transports to handle and position heavy pieces and machinery.•Responsible to maintain records of locations and status of stock levels, reporting any unusual material condition or low level inventory. Verify count of material received, condition, and report any and all discrepancies. Make periodic cycle counts as required, and keep assembly staging areas stocked at pre-determined levels.
