JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Description:-

  • This associate will be responsible for technical excellence in areas pertaining to both biological science and mechanical testing for new product design & development.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Conduct test procedures for the Chemistry, Biological Science, and Clinical laboratories.
  • Conduct mechanical test procedures on INSTRON equipment.
  • Co-develop and execute studies investigating and trouble-shooting technical issues.
  • Prepare written technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses of assigned projects.
  • Can-do positive attitude and collaborative approach to problem-solving .
  • Application of engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to develop and execute test methods and conduct data analysis.
  • Competency in documentation and writing technical reports.

Education and Experience:-

  • BS degree in engineering is required (Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • 2+ years of engineering experience is required, preferably in medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis.
  • Experience with general mechanical testing equipment such as INSTRON.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated successful learning agility.
  • Design-build-test experience .
  • Experience with handling biological specimens, particularly human clinical samples is desirable.

Skills:-

  • Knowledge of procedures for blood borne pathogen safety is necessary and will be provided.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and willing to conduct hands-on work.
  • Solid hands-on technical skill.
