JOB DESCRIPTION :
Job Title: Automation Mechanic

Hours : Mon-Fri 12pm-8:30pm
Payrate: $28-$40 DOE

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
? Being a member of an equipment maintenance team, supporting fast page 24/7 production. Primary support 2nd shift (Monday -Friday, 12 pm- 8:30 pm). Flexible schedule to occasionally work in different shift for cross training, or short staffing support. Available to work overtime as required.
? Maintain the daily operation of manufacturing automated equipment.
? Be responsive to production personnel as customers. Respond to unplanned urgent needs for equipment repair to minimize downtime. Troubleshooting equipment issues. Perform adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenances necessary to keep equipment and employees safe, and to insure reliable product performance
? Support the preventive maintenance program of all equipment.
? Help sustaining equipment at best performance. Assist upgrade of existing equipment including fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing to support increasing volumes or to eliminate causes of failure or downtime
? Maintain the daily operation of manufacturing automated equipment.
? Maintain the necessary spare parts through inventory control and purchasing
? Document maintenance and repair activities. Maintain proper documentation according to the work procedures.
? Follow Best Manufacturing Practice. Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements
? Additional tasks assign by department manager or supervisor

Required knowledge and skills:
? 3+ years of experience with equipment maintenance.
? Familiar with electro-mechanical systems, PLC control automated equipment.
? Hands-on. Ability to disassemble and reassemble dedicate assemblies
? Strong analytical troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
? Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
? Familiar with Medical device manufacturing or FDA regulated environment.
? Strong computer and MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Power Point

Physical Requirement and Abilities:
? Ability to pay attention to detail.
? Must be comfortable working in dry, cleanroom environment, gowning required.
? Able to bend, stoop, and preform repetitive arm/ wrist motion
? Ability to safely and properly use hand tools and power tools
? Ability to lift 30 lbs.
? Comfortable speaking in a group
