Mid Engineer
<p>3-5 Years Experience</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience within the healthcare insurance industry. Knowledge of claims systems a plus, specifically FEP claims</li> <li>Knowledge of EDI specifically ANSI X.12 transactions, e.g. 834, 837, etc. would be beneficial</li> <li>Experience with mainframe-based application development experience</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of COBOL applications running under CICS</li> <li>Strongly demonstrated knowledge of DB2</li> <li>Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge and experience with web services is strongly preferred, but not required</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and best practices of testing environments and processes</li> <li>Strong testing skills</li> <li>Excellent problem solving skills</li> <li>Strong analytical skills</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li> <li>Familiar with structured programming techniques</li> <li>Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision</li> <li>Strong documentation skills</li> <li>Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus</li></ul> <p>Software:</p> <ul> <li>COBOL/CICS</li> <li>DB2</li> <li>JCL</li> <li>REXX</li> <li>Rocket Shuttle</li> <li>Xpediter, FileAid, AbendAid</li> <li>MQ Series</li> <li>General IBM Utilities</li> <li>Micro Focus/Serena ChangeMan</li> <li>Microsoft Suite</li> <li>Eclipse, MyEclipse, or Topaz Workbench</li></ul> <p>The candidate should be able to do the following: 1. LTM - Review and Configure load balancer requests to include Virtual Servers, Pools, Health Monitors, iRules, etc. 2. ASM - Review WAF logs and adjust WAF policies to block application attack attempts or unblock false positives. 3. APM - Review and Configure APM policies to include AAA servers, access logs, associated VIPs etc. 4. Troubleshooting - LTM , APM and ASM connectivity and or latency issues. Knowledge of Linux commands and the ability to review PCAP files. 5. Perform version upgrades and patching of F5 devices. 6. Support implementing F5 in new datacenters. 7.
