Tasks: Manages the successful implementation of technology projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and scope. Responsible for leading a cross-functional team, within a matrixed organization. Requires working knowledge of system development methodologies and the ability to effectively communicate technical information in writing and in person. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across all phases of the system development life-cycle (SDLC) for multiple projects within the constraints of the product scope, resources, time, and budget. Requires effective management of the Customer relationship, including ability to manage Customer messaging and issue resolution. Responsibilities: Adhere to and follow the PMO defined Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)and SDLC processes. Proven experience documenting Scope and Statements of Work (SOWs) and developing/contributing to other project documentation, such as: Project Initiation Document Project Management Plan Project Schedule in MS Project Contingency Plan Implementation Plan Resource Estimates Risk and Issue Logs Experience managing procurements and RFPs Proven experience managing cross functional teams within a matrix environment. Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the Customer relationship, including ability to manage Customer messaging and issue resolution. Proven ability to effectively facilitate internal and external meetings, which often include many participants that may be in different locations. Ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities across all phases of project. Facilitate work breadown structure (WBS) sessions with cross-functional team and build WBS with all dependences. Develop and effectively manage project schedule to an 8/80 level of detail. Proven ability to monitor and control resource utilization, forecasting, and budget. Ability to work in a team environment and influence/negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor defects and regularly report status internally and externally. Support and assist SQA (Software Quality Assurance) activities and processes including the tracking, monitoring, and reporting defects. Proven ability to effectively collaborate and identify solutions within cross functional team. 3-5 Years Experience Strong Project Management Skills. Release Management Skills. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer skills with internal and external customers. Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision. Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of and experience in managing full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Projects. Experience with direct project management and release management experience is required. Knowledge of and experience in IT environment (mainframe, infrastructure, Web/Java) Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2000 tool set - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio. Ability to provide structure in an unstructured and rapidly changing environment. Highly motivated. Positive attitude. Health Care Industry Experience will be a plus. Background in requirements management and/or systems development is a plus. Regulatory and HIPAA Experience a plus. PMP Certification is a plus. Additional Skills: Previous experience in the company and knowledge of the company processes is a plus.
