Position Summary:

Maybe that’s why they're such a great place to work. The average processor working for our client will process/close 22-25 loans per month. Some processors process/close up to 50 loans per month. If you can process/close 22-25 loans per month, your earnings should exceed $80k in total compensation. If you process/close 40-50 loans per month, you’ll likely surpass $90k in total compensation (base salary plus bonus).

Responsibilities:
• Perform a wide range of duties related to the processing of residential mortgage loans
• Processing duties are both file and vendor level in nature
• Maintain contact with external and internal customers to keep pipeline moving along
• Serve as the point of contact for the borrower(s) once the loan application has been taken and submitted by the Loan Officer
• Act as liaison between borrower, Underwriter and Loan Officer
• Organize and assess all documents provided by the borrower(s), credit report,
title report, flood certificate, homeowners insurance, appraisal and any other
pertinent documentation that may be required
• Provide documentation to satisfy loan conditions and stipulations
• Ensure regular and timely communication with the borrower(s), title company,
loan officer, real estate agent and other third parties as necessary
• Maintain a system to ensure all contractual dates including, but not limited to,
mortgage contingency, closing, and rate lock expiration are met
• To be successful in this position, the mortgage loan processor must take a proactive approach to communicating status on the loan to both the borrower and the Loan Originator, and manage expectations throughout the loan process
• Processors are expected to provide the highest level of customer service both to internal and external customers
• Remain current on all internal policies and product guidelines
• Conduct weekly pipeline review meetings with assigned Loan Officer(s)
• Occasional travel to corporate office for departmental meetings

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years retail mortgage processing experience
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy
• Effective time management and priority setting skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
