Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for assisting the Sales and Marketing Manager in the coordination of sales and leasing activities for both Klinge Corporation (KC) and Klinge Conrep (KCO).
  • The Sales and Leasing Lead directly assists and supports our Sales and Marketing Manager by providing quotes directly to customers for unit sales, helping to organize and prepare bids for large projects, and generally assisting the Manager in both developing customer leads and in securing unit sales.
  • The Sales and Leasing Lead is responsible for coordinating all Leasing activities across the two companies.
  • To complete these tasks and with the travel schedule of the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales and Leasing Lead will on a daily basis be a primary point of contact for customers/internal queries about orders and need to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in making significant decisions on how to best to serve the customers and accomplish all relevant company objectives.
  • The position will also be responsible for determining standard product suitability for non-standard customer applications, working on cost estimation for modification projects, partnering with Engineering and the Sales Engineer in the specification of parts for such modifications, and then providing an effective project scope for others to complete this customization work.
  • In addition, the Sales, and Leasing Lead works with the Marketing Manager to update and maintain various marketing materials (including content for brochures, trade show materials, etc.
    ), respond to customers' inquiries on products, and analyze market data.
  • The Sales and Leasing Lead will collaborate in the development and execution of appropriate sales and leasing plans and the strategies required to achieve growth and profit objectives, including maximizing growth opportunities with existing customers, identifying potential new customers, and driving the equipment leasing effort.
  • Other key responsibilities for the position include coordinating efforts between the sales and engineering departments to assist in the development of consistent, accurate and timely estimates; leading the development and implementation of leasing initiatives; and, as a member of the Sales Team, helping to identify, design and implement new market opportunities, products, and plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant commercial or Technical field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of service and equipment sales and/or leasing sales experience with preference towards experience with sales and/or leasing of mobile refrigeration equipment.
  • Have or be eligible to attain a passport for international travel.
  • Would ideally have fluency in French and/or Spanish.
