JOB DESCRIPTION:

Please only submit candidates with an active scrub tech certification. Traveler must have permanent address outside of radius rule of 75 miles. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. RN-CVLPerforms assessments as per unit standards and documents on appropriate data base/assessment flow sheet. Initiates, utilizes and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Performs competently in emergency situations. Assists with various procedures, treatments, surgical techniques or assigns to other healthcare team members as appropriate. Assumes professional responsibility for current nursing structure and clinical standards of care. 13 weeks assignment, 2 years' experience current required in large OR. Orto, ENT and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.Orientation is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required Shift start time 0700 Shift length 10 Guaranteed hours 36 On Call requirements yes Weekend requirements yes - on call rotation Holiday requirements yes - on call rotation
