NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.</b></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Short description: </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">This position is for a Datacenter Networking Enterprise Firewall administrator that<br /> serves as a primary resource for Cisco ASA/Firepower and Checkpoint (Maestro Solution, VSX and<br /> MDSS) configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting for the State of Michigan.<br /> I. Complete description: This position is responsible for the planning, design, implementation and<br /> upgrading of Cisco ASA/Firepower and Checkpoint Firewalls (Maestro Solution, VSX and MDSS). The<br /> user will also create and troubleshoot Gateway to Gateway VPN solutions with multiple remote sites<br /> throughout Michigan and the United States. Experience in RSA Secure ID Authentication Manager will<br /> be needed to assist State of Michigan workers and vendors.<br /> The position will require the ability to work independently and in a team environment. They will be<br /> expected to provide site assessments and create MS Visio drawings based on their results. They should<br /> have knowledge of strategic planning, capacity planning, process improvement, and setting maintenance<br /> schedules.<br /> The individual must be able to work with developers of different Agencies to confirm firewall rules and<br /> troubleshooting network communications. They will be responsible for maintaining their ticket queue<br /> within the Remedy Ticketing System utilized within the State of Michigan to maintain Service Level<br /> Agreements. They may also be asked to participate in troubleshooting and design meetings for different<br /> applications within the State of Michigan. Answers and makes phone calls as necessary. Reads,<br /> comprehends, and complies with email messages on a timely basis.
