Required Technical Skill Set:Level 3 Network Engineering and Support
Desired Experience Range:5 + years


Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have:Technical:
Maintain, troubleshoot, configure and remediate all Datacenter Network devices including Routers and Switches (Cisco), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto and Checkpoint), and Load Balancers(F5).
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting networking protocols - OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS with Knowledge of Multicast Routing.
Should be flexible to work in 11am to 8pm weekday shift
Practical application skills in deployment of QoS on various platforms.
Background in operating and maintaining Cisco-based fabrics (e.g., FabricPath, VXLAN).
Hands-on experience with Routers, Firewalls, Cisco ASR9K and Meraki Devices.
Experience with Internet and Cloud Exchange Peering.
In-depth knowledge of SNMP, Netflow, IPFIX, Netconf or Restconf models.
Should be familiar with wireless, wired, and remote access infrastructure
Good understanding of DNS/DHCP,Infoblox etc
Experience reviewing system configuration settings/policies.
Must be able to establish standards and evaluate user issues.
Create required documentation - Network systems contain a vast amount of information, and that information needs to be documented
Proficiency working with third party vendors and technologies.

Non-Technical:
Ability to review and improve processes and procedures.
Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing and conflicting priorities.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written.
Ability to work overtime to include nights and weekends as needed
Must develop and maintain harmonious work relationships with co-employees and users.
Experience working with operational environments following ITIL, industry standards, frameworks and reference architectures.

Good-to-Have:Industry certifications - CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking specialization

SN:Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1:The person will need to know how to work in an operations environment managing tickets and working directly with customers and users.
2:The person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting data center and cloud network Infrastructure.
3:Provide level 3 network support including operation, change management and request fulfillment for network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Your role will monitor and support global network, IP and related security services, resolve complex system and network issues and outages.
4:You may be preparing network diagrams and maintaining equipment lists using automation where possible to ensure accuracy and completeness. Industry watching, both direct or through a third party, to ensure the company is aware and educated on new technologies.
Team members will look to you to mentor, coach and be their focal point for technical network issues. You should be able to communicate well with vendors and partners to build relationships and work through technical scenarios. We are expecting you to work independently and exercise reasonable judgement with little supervision while providing clear documentation of activities and accomplishments.
