Position – Test Engineer
Job Description:
- Creative problem solver who's passionate about delivering scalable solutions within our SaaS platform
- Should be a fit in an agile innovative team
- Work with Architects, subject matter experts, designers and software engineers to deliver quality products to our customers
- Develop both manual & automated ways to test web, responsive, APIs, mobile apps and backend applications
- Implement and execute Functional, regression, acceptance and performance tests
- Build test cases, test automation scripts using automated testing tools, automated frameworks and reports
- Will be working on implementing Quality of Experience(QoE) for video streaming and Real device testing.
Skill Sets Required:
- Must be a fit within an agile innovative team structure
- Minimum 3 years of experience on automated frameworks like Selenium, Browser Stack and Lambda Testing tools.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
- Experience capturing crashes & performance issues in both frontend technologies and mobile SDKs
- Strong experience on bug tracking tools like Jira / Git
- Experience enforcing API contracts between frontend and backend and automating API testing
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Worked on video streaming and ecommerce projects is a huge plus
- Preferably a software engineering background with a degree in computer science
