General Qualifications:
1. BA/BS in nursing degree and must have current RN license in New York State
2. Experienced in the medical field as a nurse
3. Nurse Case Management experience preferred
4. Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written
5. Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and complex employee/patient concerns (with excellent communication, conflict management and analytical skills)
6. Proficiency in use of electronic medical record keeping systems desirable and computer skills including Microsoft Excel
7. Knowledge of FMLA guidelines preferred
8. Occupational Health experience and American Board of Health Nursing certification
9. BLS certification required

Specific job functions include:
1. Manage Medical Leaves (STD, FMLA,) by processing claims and communicate case status to employees, supervisors/managers, HRand healthcare providers.
2. Facilitate and be a resource to employees in a smooth transitional (modified/restricted) or full return to work assignments.
3. Documents patient data in electronic medical database(s), as per standard protocols.
4. Support Site Health promotion and disease prevention programs for employees i.e., Flu Clinic for employees

In compliance with Executive Order 14043, all employees assigned to this assignment must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and be able to provide proof of vaccination for consideration for employment for this role.##
