OPERATIONS MANAGER

WHEN YOU'LL DO IT
  • Sunny Orange, California
  • Responsible for multiple shift operation. Mainly 1st Shift, however, must be able to work any hours as necessary including alternating Saturdays.
  • Monday thru Friday
  • Alternating Saturdays


WHAT YOU'LL DO

Here's the technical stuff but it's worth a read as this will be your daily to-do list!
  • Responsible for assuring all shifts & functions are properly staffed to execute varied work volume, manage order-flow to optimize operation for approximately 25 employees in a 100,000 sq./ft. facility.
  • Ensure on-time shipping performance; work closely with supervisors to ensure receipts & shipments meet standards.
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly quality & productivity reporting as well as manage facility quality control process.
  • Supervise realignment activities to ensure maximum optimization of the facility.
  • Manage operational activities to ensure DC layout & continuous improvement activities support goals of the operation.
  • Continuously work towards increasing the leadership capability of the team & drive professional growth through leadership/training/supervision of up to 50 team members.
  • Provide direct supervision to the shift supervisors holding them accountable for their performance & the performance of their teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing safety compliance as well as all facility/equipment maintenance & supplies.



SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Logistics or Operations Management
  • Five years of specific relevant work experience.
  • Five years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience supervising at least 15+ team members.
  • Some Distribution Center Operations experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Capable of presenting operational data to the business & leadership team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change while improving efficiencies & processes. Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs we strongly encourage military veteran applicants!
