Shift timing: 06:45AM TO 05:00PM
Exempt/Non Exempt: Non Exempt Years Experience: 0-1 year Skills: None specified Education: Bachelor's degree and current RN license required Duties: Provide occupational health services including treatment and care to site population (i.e., First Aid response etc.) Manage a diversity of programs and systems. Includes the management of all employee injuries and illnesses, associated workers' compensation cases, medical surveillance programs and protocols, logs and screenings. Manage all medical supplies. Coordinate Corporate occupational health and safety programs. Conduct applicable employee training and participate in various site teams and Emergency Response. Work with Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and HR Staff. Work closely with all site employees, Managers and Supervisors. Aggressively pursue a reduction in Workers' Compensation costs through effective case management, return to work and other effective prevention programs."
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Responding to calls for assistance - Administration of first aid and level-appropriate care according to State, Local and National guidelines - Proper assessment of injuries and the coordination for appropriate transportation to medical facilities - Effective communication with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel and Medical Facility Staff - Assisting site Safety Personnel with safety related duties and inspections - Detailed documentation of medical and safety related incidents - Coordination with Safety Managers in maintaining the most safe and secure construction site environment -
client EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
One year minimum active EMS experience
• Experience in construction, OSHA, or worker’s compensation a plus
• Strong computer skills
• Flexible schedule
• Extreme attention to detail and on time scheduling • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Spanish a plus KNOWLEDGE
• Med-eScreen medical treatment protocol CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Current EMT certification (National or State) required. (Paramedic (NRP) certification preferred)
• OSHA30, or certification training will be provided PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and possess no fear of heights
• Ability to function in extreme weather and temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
