LOB Specific Description: The successful candidate will be a key project contributor owning and driving key deliverables, facilitating meetings, and updating project documentation throughout the project life cycle. This is a varied and interesting role that will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects reaching across multiple functional groups within the new Regulatory Reporting Operations organization.   As the project manager you will be responsible for the planning, organization, monitoring and controlling of projects, using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. This will include identifying and managing issues and risks, managing project plan, coordinates and facilitates weekly project working groups and ad hoc project meetings, action log tracking, status reporting, communications, testing and implementation activities as required to deliver the project.   Throughout the project delivery life cycle business analysis investigation will be required for example to assess current state, process mapping of future state, assess production data and conduct detailed deep dives into the topic to help progress the project.   Provides technical and analytical support to one or more Regulatory Reporting operations function, across multiple products, to support the Process Owner and Operational Excellence strategy. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex operational problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Identify areas for improvement, complete root cause analysis, identify potential solutions, create the business case to support the change which will involve coordinating across multiple functions and/or products. Requires extensive experience within operations functions, with a thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products.   The Team: Working as a hybrid project manager / business analyst within the newly created Regulatory Reporting Operations Strategy, Operational Excellence and Portfolio Management team.   Required Skills: (Must have these skills to be minimally qualified) Proven track record of delivering projects to scope, plan, and budget (Project Management) Excellent project management skill set including creating clear and coherent plans, detailed tracking, prioritization, informing stakeholders, reporting, timely escalations, clearly defined roles/responsibilities, hosting working groups and steering forums etc. (Project Management) Ability to source and process numbers a large volume of information / date that's needed to resolve project related issues to determine root cause and propose viable solution options with strong attention to detail and accuracy (Business Analysis) Committed to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change. Ability to change direction based on facts and data and input from others (Flexible and Open- Minded thinking, Rethinking ability) Ability to build/maintain effective working relationships that are instrumental in achieving project/business related goals (Networking/Relationship Building/Positive Impact) Ability to persuade, convince, influence, or gain the commitment of others (individuals or groups) to get them to accept a point of view, adopt a specific direction, commit to an idea, or take a course of action. (Positive Impact and Influence) Strong understanding of the fundamentals of the business and process excellence strategy and the ability to apply that knowledge to tailor approach for optimal business outcomes and short/long term benefits (Critical thinking) Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at different levels (Communication) Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines (Drive and Organization) Competent with MS Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio   Desired Skills: Knowledge of Operational processes within Global Markets and Banking Project management qualification such as PRINCE 2 / PMP / Six Sigma Experience of the Enterprise Change Management process and tooling   Other Qualifications: Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions. Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward. Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner. May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products. As a technical expert, may also function as an informal team lead, providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires extensive experience in an operations support function with thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products. As a technical expert, will consult on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.
