Position Responsibilities : Title: Oracle Developer Location: Pennington, NJ Primary Skill Set: Oracle SQL / PLSQL Secondary Skill Set: Python Tertiary Skill Set: UNIX/SHELL SCRIPTS Requirements for the Role: 10 + years. Develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. The candidate should have experience in software development, design, and architecture, with an emphasis on development technologies Oracle 11.x/12c/Unix/python and will contribute to a team of developers in delivering projects using an Iterative Development (i.e. LEAN/Agile/SCRUM) approach. A senior member of the technical team responsible for assisting senior business leaders and management. Must have experience as a Team Lead and should be able to Lead/guide an Agile Scrum team (both onshore and offshore team members). Mentoring team members for their day-to-day project tasks. Candidate is always looking to get hands-on, writing code daily as well as eager to help other members of the team grow by performing peer reviews, including refactoring existing application code to meet increasing team quality standards. Ability to resolve highly complex technical issues. Ability to work well with senior management. Develop and maintain effective workflows and processes. A great team spirit. Must have Working in Agile software development methodologies. Experience in Jira/Defect tracking system. Very good communication skills. Desired Skills Perl and Python programming is good to have.
