<p><b><u>Title: Oracle Technologies Functional Solutions Analyst</u></b></p> <p><b><u>Location: Dallas, TX/Remote</u></b></p> <p><b><u>Duration: Long term Contract</u></b></p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Summary:</u></b></p> <p>Team management experience required. Would be the primary point of contact for the Exadata team. </p> <p><b>Lead the effort to install, configuration, and management of the new Oracle Exadata Platform (consisting of Exadata Database, PCA, and ZDLRA appliances). PCA experience preferred.</b></p> <p>Assist the Database Team in migrating existing Oracle machines from AIX/VMware to the new Exadata Platform.</p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Skills:</u></b></p> <p>• 10+ years expertise in system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting & problem resolution.</p> <p>• Experience with designing/maintaining/<wbr />overseeing Oracle Exadata Database Machine architecture to include Exadata X9, PCA, and ZDLRA</p> <p>• Advanced knowledge in Exadata QPD patching as well as applying patches to Exalytics servers</p> <p>• Experience with implementing Exadata quarterly upgrades/patches, to include rolling patches</p> <p>• Experience with managing multiple Oracle Exadata Database Machines</p> <p>• Configuration and administration of ASM Disk Groups, rebalance operation by using Exadata Storage Server</p> <p>• Experience with migrating Oracle database/application servers from AIX/VMware to Exadata</p> <p>• Experience with Red Hat RHEL 6/7 and Oracle Linux 6/7</p> <p>• Monitoring and administration of Oracle Linux OS and its components (disks, mount points, packages, users etc.)</p> <p>• Demonstrated success in automating server builds, standardizing images, and managing Linux systems via central management tools</p> <p>• Excellent documentation skills</p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Good to Have Skills:</u></b></p> <p>• 10+ years expertise in architecture, system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting & problem resolution.</p> <p>• Experience with architecting/designing/<wbr />maintaining/overseeing Oracle Exadata Database Machine architecture to include Exadata X9, PCA, and ZDLRA</p> <p>• Advanced knowledge in Exadata QPD patching as well as applying patches to Exalytics servers</p> <p>• Experience with implementing Exadata quarterly upgrades/patches, to include rolling patches</p> <p>• Experience with managing multiple Oracle Exadata Database Machines</p> <p>• Configuration and administration of ASM Disk Groups, rebalance operation by using Exadata Storage Server</p> <p>• Extended experience with migrating Oracle database/application servers from AIX/VMware to Exadata</p> <p>• Experience with Red Hat RHEL 6/7, Oracle Linux 6/7, AIX 7</p> <p>• Scripting in PERL, Python, or Shell</p> <p>• Experience with the following technologies a plus:</p> <p>· DataGuard</p> <p>· GoldenGate</p>
