PLC Automation Software Engineer
iCube CSI - Jacksonville, FL

iCube CSI is looking to fill a contract position for our customer in Medical Device industry

Need experienced PLC Automation Software Engineer to work on manufacturing lines to design, develop and handle daily troubleshooting of issues. Must able to work independently and train others.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

 

Need experienced PLC Automation Software Engineer to work on manufacturing lines to design, develop and handle daily troubleshooting of issues. Must able to work independently and train others. The controllers are of Allen Bradley but may also work on Siemens controllers.

Education: 
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Required Experience: 

  • 5+ year experience working with automated control systems
  • Troubleshooting controllers and making software changes on a production line
  • Strong PLC background in Allen Bradley ControlLogix 500/5000, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk ME/SE HMI 
  • Experience on FactoryTalk Historian Server, Rockwell Kinetix servo drives 
  • Wonderware Intouch/ArchestrA HMI software experience preferred
  • Experience in Automation Equipment using PLCs, HMI, SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of OPC servers, Servos Controllers, robotics systems, higher level database and software systems is a plus
  • Must understand ladder logic, structure text, CFC, SFC and be able to write in Visual Basic
  • Ability to train others (communication skills plus knowledge of training techniques)

Prefer someone who also has experience with laser printers.
