Packaging Specialist Apply
Minimum Education Required: Highschool
Dress Code/Required PPE: Pants / no shorts, safety boots - the rest will be provided onsite
Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), GMP’s, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental programs
Get a pass down from the outgoing shift
Check paper work for the order running, and the packaging materials
Do metal detector and weight check
Check the quality of product running
Fill out paper work is filled out correctly
Maintain all production areas in a neat and clean condition.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Work in elevated areas (short ladders)
Required:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work in elevated areas
Preferred:
Prior experience in production related work
Forklift experience
Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
